Pagpapatakas sa Korean fugitive huli sa CCTV; BI officers sinibak
METRO MANILA, Philippines — Inalis na sa puwesto ang lahat ng mga opisyal at tauhan ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) na nadiin sa pagkakatakas ng isang high-profile South Korean fugitive sa Quezon City.
Ayon kay Immigration Commissioner Joel Viado, base sa nakuha nilang CCTV footage, mapapatunayan na nagkaroon ng sabwatan ang kanilang mga tauhan at si Na Ikhyeon sa Quezon City Hall of Justice noong Marso 4.
“This footage is damning evidence. Hindi ito simpleng kapabayaan. The movements and interactions caught on camera strongly indicate collusion,” ayon kay Viado.
Dinagdag pa ng opisyal na may mga testigo din na sumusuporta sa isinampang mga kaso laban sa mga sangkot na opisyal ng kawanihan.
Nabatid ng Radyo Inquirer na may ibang kawani ng kawanihan ang sinuspindi habang nagpapatuloy ang imbestigasyon sa insidente.
