Teenage Pregnancy Prevention bill kasuklam-suklam – Marcos
METRO MANILA, Philippines —Katawa-tawa at kasuklam-suklam. Ito ang pagsasalarawan ni Pangulong Marcos Jr., sa Senate Bill No. 1979 o ang Teenage Pregnancy Prevention bill.
Partikular na pinuna ni Marcos Jr., ang probisyon ukol sa sex education kayat aniya ibi-veto niya ang panukala kung hindi babaguhin ang ilan sa mga probisyon.
Ayon sa kanya, suportado niya ang sex education, ngunit hindi ang labis-labis na pagtuturo ng sekswalidad maging sa mga musmos.

Binatikos niya ang mga nais maituro sa mga menor de edad kabilang na ang pagpapaligaya sa sarili.
“You will teach four-year-olds how to masturbate. That every child has the right to try different sexualities. This is ridiculous. This is abhorrent. This is a travesty of what sex education should be to the children,” ani Marcos.
Isa pa sa kanyang ipinagdiinan ang kahalagahan ng pagtuturo ng mga magulang sa kanilang mga anak.
“What about the parents? Wala na silang karapatan na sila ang mag-decide kung ano at kailan tuturuan yung bata. I’m a parent and I’m a grandparent. So I feel very strongly about this,” idinagdag pa ni Marcos.
