METRO MANILA, Philippines — Bawas iintindihin na sa senior citizens ang hindi na pagdadala ng kanilang purchase discount booklet sa pagbili ng mga gamot.

Ito ang sinabi ni Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. kaugnay sa kautusan ni Health Secretary Ted Herbosa.

“Liban na kailangan pa nila na sadyain ang pagkuha ng booklets, minsan kasi nakakalimutan dalahin o kung saan nila nailagay ang booklet kaya hindi na sila nabibigyan ng discount,” sabi ng senador.

Ayon naman kay Sen. Loren Legarda, malaking tulong sa mga senior ang hakbang ng Department of Health (DOH) para sa maayos na pagpapatupad ng batas ukol sa pagbibigay sa kanila ng mga diskuwento.

Noong Martes, inanunsiyo ni Herbosa na hindi kailangan pang ipakita ng senior citizen ang kanyang purchase discount booklet sa botika para sa 20 porsiyentong diskuwento sa mga gamot at medical device.
