METRO MANILA, Philippines — Bunga ng bagong 74 percent passing rate, umabot sa 3,962 examinees ang pumasa sa 2024 bar examinations.
Sinabi ni Supreme Court Associate Justice at Bar Chairperson Mario Lopez na may 10,490 law graduates ang nakakumpleto sa bar exams noong nakaraang Setyembre.
Ito aniya ay 37.8 percent at bahagyang mataas sa 36.77 percent na naitala noong 2023 bar exams na may 10,387 examinees.
Ang pagbaba sa 74 percent passing rate mula sa inirekomenda niyang 75 percent ay napagadesisyunan ng Supreme Court en banc at tinatayang nadagdagan ng 1,000 ang bilang ng mga bagong abogado.
Si University of the Philippines College of Law graduate Kyle Christian Tutor ang nanguna sa exams ngayong taon sa nakuha niyang 85.77 percent.
