METRO MANILA, Philippines — Sinuspindi na ni Senate President Francis “Chiz” Escudero ang pasok sa Senado ngayong Lunes dahil sa masamang panahon dulot ng Tropical Storm Enteng at habagat.
Bunga nito, nakansela ang pagdinig sa resolusyon na kanselahin ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) ang pasaporte ni dating Mayor Alice Guo, gayundin ang pagdinig ng committee on public services at oversight committee on agricultural and fisheries modernization.
Hindi na rin natuloy ang pagdinig ng Senate committee on finance para sa 2025 budget ng Office of the President, Presidential Management Staff, National Intelligence Coordinating Agency at National Security Council.
Ayon kay Escudero magbabalik ang kanilang sesyon 3 p.m. ng Martes.
Samantala, sinuspindi na rin ang pasok sa Korte Suprema gayundin sa mga korte sa ilang lugar.
Una nang kinansela ng Malakcañang ang pasok sa lahat ng mga ahensiya ng gobyerno sa Metro Manila, kasunod nang pagsuspindi sa lahat ng antas ng mga klase.
