Chinese vessels dumami sa WPS, ayon sa Philippine Navy
METRO MANILA, Philippines — Higit sa 100 ang nagkalat na vessels ng Chinese People’s Liberation Army – Navy (PLAN), China Coast Guard, at Chinese Maritime Militia vessels sa ibat-ibang bahagi ng West Philippine Sea, ayon sa pahayag ng Philippine Navy nitong Martes.
May 18 PLAN vessels na namataan noong ika-18 hanggang ika-29 Agosto at ang bilang ay mula sa 13 noong ika-13 hanggangn ika-19 ng Agosto.
Nabawasan naman ang bilang ng CCG vessels – mula sa 18 ay naging 16 na lamang.

Ngunit dumami ng husto ang maritime militia vessels, mula 98 ay lumobo ang bilang sa 127.
Namataan din ang dalawang Chinese research and survey vessels.
Ang mga barko ng China ay nagkalat sa Escoda Shoal, Bajo de Masinloc, Pagasa Island, Lawak Island, Ayungin Shoal, Parola, Island, Kota Island, Panata Island at Patag Island at Likas Island.
