2 Chinese inaresto, 13 nailigtas sa Pampanga POGO raid

METRO MANILA, Philippines —Pinaniniwalaang Philippine offshore gaming operator (POGO) hub ang sinalakay ng mga tauhan ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) ng Philippine National Police (PNP) sa loob ng Clark Freeport Zone sa Pampanga kaninang umaga ng Miyerkules.

Sinabi ni Maj. Gen. Leo Francisco, hepe ng CIDG, na dalawang Chinese nationals — isang alias Tiago at isang alias Tian Zhu — ang naaresto sa kanilang operasyon sa isang village sa loob ng Clark Freeport Zone 5:30 a.m.

May 13 na Chinese, kabilang ang dalawang babae at tatlong mga menor de edad, ang nailigtas.

Nakumpiska ng mga operatiba ang ilang vault, pera ng ibat-ibang bansa, mga dokumento, gadgets, at P167,400 cash.

Ang dalawang suspek ay maaring maharap sa mga kasong paglabag sa Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2012.
