Bagaman holiday ngayong araw dahil sa paggunita ng Eid’l Fitr, todo trabaho pa rin ang mga tauhan ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang.
Ayon kay Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar, pina-plantsa na ngayong araw ang executive order sa kontrobersiyal na Freedom of Information bill.
Kasama sa pagpupulong si Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea at si Malou Mangahasa ng Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism.
Una rito, sinabi ni Andanar na ilalabas na ang EO sa FOI sa loob ng linggong ito.
Sasaklawin ng EO sa FOI ang mga departamento at line agencies na nasa ilalim ng Office of the President.
Kaugnay nito, posibleng pirmahan na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa darating na Biyernes ang EO sa FOI bill dahil matatapos na bukas ng gabi ang draft nito.
