MANILA, Philippines — Bahagyang tumaas ang inflation noong nakaraang buwan ng Abril sa 3.8%, ayon sa Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
Mas mataas ito ng 0.01 percentage sa naitalang 3.7% noong Marso.
Nananatili ang pagtaas ng presyo ng mga pagkain, partikular na ng sibuyas at galunggong. Itong ang nagkaroon ng malaking kontribusyon sa pagtaas muli ng inflation rate.
Naka-ambag din ang pagtaas ng presyo ng non-alcoholic beverage at ang sunod-sunod ng pagtaas ng presyo ng mga produktong petrolyo.
