12 na opisyal ng BSP pinakamataas ang sweldo sa gobyerno

MANILA, Philippines — Okupado ng mga matataas na opisyal ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) ang listahan ng Top 12 “highest paid government officials” noong nakaraang taon, ayon sa Commmission on Audit (COA).

Ayon sa isinapublikong 2023 Report on Salaries and Allowances, si BSP Governor Eli Semolina Jr. ang may pinakamataas na suweldo sa hanay ng mga opisyal ng gobyerno sa tinanggap niyang suweldo at mga allowance na  P35,478,813.42.

Kasunod niya si dating BSP Governor Felipe Medalla na tumanggap ng P28,050,030.52 mula sa P34,172,508.34 na kanyang tinanggap noong 2022.

Eto pa ang mga tinatanggap ng ibang mga opisyal ng BSP:

  • Deputy Governor Chuchi Fonacier: P26,003,043.94
  • Monetary Board member Anita Linda Aquino: P25,049,655.04)
  • Monetary Board member Victor Bruce Tolentino: P24,746,656.26
  • Senior Assistant Governor Edna Villa: P23,519,138.53)
  • Deputy Governor Francisco Dakila Jr.: P23,319,648.65)
  • Senior Assistant GovernorElmore Capule: P22,339,656.18)
  • Assistant Governor Johnny Noe Ravalo: P21,597,144.22
  • Senior Assistant Governor Iluminada Sicat: P21,123,829.79)
  • Deputy Governor Eduardo Bobier: P21,013,931.08
  • Senior Assistant Governor Ma. Ramona Gertrudes Santiago: P20,772,649.32

Sa hudikatura, ang may pinakamataas na natanggap na suweldo at allowances ay si Supreme Court Associate Justice Alfredo Benjamin Caguioa sa halagang P19,648,395.90. Siya ang nasa ika-13 puwesto sa listahan.

Si Supreme Court Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo ay na 18th place na tumatanggap ng P16,317,567.20 at si Associate Justice Antonio T. Kho Jr. ay nasa 19th place na tumatanggap ng P16,080,538.60.
