CS eligibility para sa gov’t contractual, JO workers inihirit
MANILA, Philippines — Iniapila kay Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr., na sertipikahan na “urgent” ang panukalang batas na layon mabigyan ng civil service eligibility at permanenteng posisyon ang mga casual at contractual workers na tatlong taon na o higit pa sa serbisyo.
Ayon kay Party-list Rep. Edwin Bustillos ng National Anti-Poverty Commission Formal Labor and Migrant Workers Council ang kanilang inilapit kay Marcos ay ang House Bill No. 1514.
Layon ng panukalang batas na mabigyan ng civil service eligibility ang lahat ng government casual at contractual employees na nasa ilalim ng job orders o contract of service at tatlong taon ng maayos na nagta-trabaho.
Aniya hiling nila, kung nakapasa na sa mga assessments at evaluations ang casual o contractual workers sa mga tanggapan ng gobyerno, dapat ay mabigyan na ang mga ito ng permanenteng posisyon o gawing regular.
Sabi ni Bustillos, hindi pa naisasalang sa deliberasyon sa Kongreso ang naturang panukalang batas kayat hiniling nila kay Marcos na sertipikahan itong “urgent bill” upang maging prayoridad ng mga mambabatas.
