Philippine Navy nakabantay sa pagdami ng Chinese vessels sa WPS

Nadoble ang bilang ng Chinese vessels sa West Philippine Sea (WPS) sa nakalipas na dalawang buwan, ayon sa Philippine Navy (PN).

Sinabi ni Navy spokesman for West Philippine Sea Commodore Roy Vincent Trinidad naobserbahan nila ang pagdami ng Chinese vessels kasabay nang pagsasagawa ng Ph-US Balikatan.

Nadagdagan aniya ang bilang ng Chinese vessels sa Bajo de Masinloc at Pagasa Island.

Tiwala naman si Trinidad na hindi manghihimasok ang puwersa ng China sa isinasagawang war exercise na magtatagal hanggang Mayo 10 at inoobsebahan ng 14 iba pang bansa.

“Because it is an activity between the US and the Philippines. Historically the illegal, unprovoked, uncalled for actions of China will only be to the Philippines,” katuwiran ng opisyal.

Karamihan naman aniya sa mga dumagdag ay Chinese militia vessels.
