Metro Manila traffic congestion plan inilatag ni PBBM
Inanunsiyo ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., ang ilang mga hakbangin para maibsan ang trapiko sa Metro Manila.
Kabilang sa mga hakbang ay ang pagpapalawak at pagpapahaba ng EDSA Carousel Bus Lane, pagsasa-ayos ng Pasig River Ferry system at ang pagpapatayo ng mga tulay sa Pasig River.
“To address traffic congestion in Metro Manila, we will expand and extend routes for EDSA bus carousel; refurbishing the Pasig River stations; and constructing bridges across the Pasig River,” ani Marcos.
Dagdag pa niya: “We will prioritize active transportation facilities including safe walkways and secured bike lanes to promote healthier and more sustainable modes of travel.”
Noong Sabado, ibinahagi ni Marcos ang pagpapalabas niya ng Executive Order No. (EO) 56 na nagbabawal sa mga opisyal at kawani ng gobyerno na gumamit ng “wang-wang.
Sinundan nito ng kanyang utos na palawigin ang oras ng paggawa sa mga transportation infrastructure projects para mabilis na matapos ang mga ito.
