Pangulong Marcos pinamamadali proseso ng importasyon ng agri products
Inutusan ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., ang Department of Agriculture (DA) na bawasan oa ang proseso sa importasyon ng mga produktong-agrikultural para sa ngalan ng food security sa bansa.
Sa ilalim ng Administrative Order No. 20, dahil sa “non-tariff barriers” at ilang polisiyang administratibo tumataas ang presyo ng mga inangkat na produkto.
“It is imperative to further streamline administrative procedures to foster transparency and predictability of policies on the importation of agricultural products in order to help ensure food security, maintain sufficient supply of agricultural goods in the domestic market, and improve local production,” sabi ni Marco sa AO 20.
Pinirmahan ni Executive Sec. Lucas Bersamin ang kautusan noong Abril 18.
Sakop din ng kautusan ang Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) o ang Department of Finance (DOF).
