Mga PNP Generals na sangkot sa droga kinilala ni Duterte
Pinangalanan na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang ilang mga opisyal ng Philippine National Police na umano’y sangkot sa illegal drugs.
Sa kanyang pagsasalita sa 69th anniversary ng Philippine Air Force, sinabi ni Duterte ang mga pangalan nina dating National Capital Regional Police Office (NCRPO) Dir. Joel Pagdilao, dating Western Visayas Director CSupt. Bernardo Diaz, Dating QCPD Dir. Edgardo Tinio, Dating CSupt. Vicente Loot at dating PNP Deputy Chief for Administration Generoso Marcelo Garbo.
Muling sinabi ni Duterte na hinahamon niya ang buong PNP na ayusin ang trabaho kontra droga at tutulungan niya ang mga ito basta’t huwag gawing moro-moro o palabas lang ang mga gagawing police operations.
Sina Pagdilao,Tino at Diaz ay nauna nang inilagay sa floating status kasama sina dating Directorate for Intelligence Director Generoso Cerbo at dating Cagayan Valley o Region 2 Director CSupt. Reiner Idio.
Ang mga nabanggit na opisyal ng PNP ay kabilang sa Class 84 ng Philippine Military Academy (PMA) na sinasabing mga malalapit na opisyal kay dating Interior Sec. Mar Roxas kung saan siya ay adopted member.
