Yellow alert sa Visayas grid mamayang hapon hanggang gabi

Non-operational ang 13 power plants at lima pa ang kapos ang kapasidad sa Visayas grid.

Simula mamayang ala-1 ng hapon hanggang alas-10 ng gabi ay nakataas ang yellow alert sa Visayas grid, ayon sa National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP).

Nabatid na na ang available capacity ay 2,713 megawatts at ang tinatayang peak demand ng kuryente ay 2,523 mega watts. May 13 power plants ang hindi operational, samantalang may lima naman ang ibinaba ang kapasidad. Bunga nito, 698 megawatts ang nawala sa naturang grid. Itinataas ang yellow alert kung hindi sapat ang kapasidad para sa operating margin ng contigency requirement.
