Pangulong Marcos Jr., pinatitiyak ang suplay ng kuryente

Inatasan ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., ang lahat ng kinauukulang ahensiya ng gobyerno na tiyakin na may sapat na suplay ng kuryente sa bansa.

Kasunod ito nang pagdeklara ng National Grid Corporation of the Phils., ng red at yellow alerts sa Luzon at Visayas grids kahapon.

Inatasan ni Marcos ang Department of Energy (DOE) na tutukan at makipag-koordinasyon sa lahat ng stakeholders para matugunan ang sitwasyon.

“At this time, it is crucial that we all work together to ensure a stable power supply for the next couple of days. Let’s adopt energy-efficient practices and stand together to overcome this challenge,” ang “X” post ni Marcos.

“I have also directed all government offices to set the standard in conserving energy and minimizing power consumption,” dagdag pa niya.

Una nang ibinahagi ni Energy Sec. Raphael Lotilla na naapektuhan ng matinding init ng panahon ang 31 planta, kabilang na ang Pagbilao Unit kayat nawalan ng 382 megawatts ang Luzon grid.
