Speaker Romualdez sinabing huhulihin ang mga gumagamit ng “8” special plate
Iginiit ni House Speaker Martin Romualdez na hindi awtorisado ang paggamit ng “special plates” ng mga miyembro ng 19th Congress sa bahagi ng Kamara.
Sa inilabas na pahayag ng kanyang tanggapan, sinabi ni Romualdez na hindi maikukunsidera na lehitimo ang special plate na “8.”
Dagdag pa ni Romualdez, may kasunduan ang Kamara at Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) na huhulihin ang driver na gumagamit ng number “8” na plaka at kukumpiskahin ito.
Diin niya na hindi dapat kinukunsinti ang paggamit ng special plates dahil nagiging banta pa ito sa seguridad ng publiko at nababalewala ang vehicle registration system sa bansa.
“We expect all members to uphold the highest standards of integrity and adherance to the law,” ani Romualdez.
