DepEd hihingi ng paglilinaw kay PBBM sa 2-year school calendar shift
Lilinawin ng Department od Education (DepEd) kay Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., ang naging pahayag nitol ukol sa pagbabalik sa lumang “school calendar.”
Nagpalabas ng paliwanag ng kagawaran hinggil sa plano at sinabi na ito ay bunga ng malawakang konsultasyon sa kanilang field personnel, student leaders, parent organizations, at teacher organizations.
Nabatid na ang unang panukala ay limang taon para sa dahan-dahan na pagbabalik sa “April-May school break,” upang hindi maapektuhan ang kalidad ng edukasyon sa mga mag-aaral.
“As a result of the mentioned consultations, however, the original timeline of 5 years was reduced to only 2 years. To reduce the timeline any further would have significant impacts not only on learning outcomes but also on the well-being of learners and teachers due to the lack of sufficient breaks,” ayon sa DepEd.
Pagtitiyak ng kagawaran na pagbibigay ng de-kalidad na edukasyon ang prayoridad sa kanilang mga programa.
