Arrest warrants vs Pastor Apollo Quiboloy pinanindigan ng Pasig court
Pinagtibay ng isang korte sa Pasig City ang pagpapalabas ng warrants of arrests para kay Pastor Apollo Quiboloy at limang iba dahil sa kasong qualified human trafficking.
Sinabi ni Presiding judge Rainelda Estacio-Montesa, ng Pasig RTC Branch 159 na matapos suriin mabuti ang mga impormasyon at mga dokumento may sapat na basehan para ipagutos ang pag-aresto sa mga kinasuhan.
“(T)he court finds the motion to defer/suspend proceedings and hold in abeyance issuance of warrant of arrest to be a prohibited motion and should therefore be denied,” ang nakasaad sa tatlong pahinang resolusyon na may petsang Abril 11, 2024.
Walang inirerekomendang piyansa para sa mga paglabag sa RA 9208 o ang Anti-Trafficking of Persons Act of 2003.
Una nang nagpalabas ang isang korte sa Davao City ng arrest warrant laban sa nagtatag sa Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) dahil naman sa mga kasong child at sexual abuse.
Patuloy ang paghahanap kay Quiboloy ng mga awtoridad.
