Apat na OFW nasaktan sa Taiwan magnitude 7.5 quake
Kinupirma ng Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) na apat na overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) na ang kabilang sa daan-daang nasaktan sa magnitude 7.5 earthquake na yumanig sa Taiwan noong Miyerkules, Abril 3.
Sa kanyang “X” account, inanunsiyo ni DMW Officer-in-Charge Hans Leo Cacdac na Filipina ang ikaapat na biktimang Filipino.
“She sustained head injuries due to falling debris. She is out of harm’s way and is being treated by a doctor,” ang “X” post ni Cacdac.
Kasabay nito, tiniyak ni Cacdac na ang kanilang Migrant Workers Offices sa Taipei, Taichung, at Kaohsiung ay patuloy na nakasubaybay sa kalagayan ng mga OFWs sa Taiwan.
Ang apat na OFWs ay nakalabas na ng ospital matapos magamot.
