NOC para sa ASEAN 2026 hosting binuo ni PBBM

Bumuo na si Pangulong Marcos Jr. ng National Organizing Committee para sa hosting ng Pilipinas sa 2026 ASEAN Summit.(BONGBONG MARCOS FB PHOTO)

Bumuo si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., ng National Organizing Council (NOC)m para sa hosting ng Pilipinas sa 2026 Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit.

“It is imperative to constitute a National Organizing Council to organize, manage, and supervise all major and ancillary programs, activities, and projects related to the hosting of ASEAN 2026 in the country,” ang nakasaad sa Administrative Order (AO) 17 ni Marcos, na pinirmahan noong Marso 22.

Itinalaga si Executive Sec. Lucas Bersamin bilang chairman ng ASEAN NOC Chairperson at si Foreign Affairs Sec. Enrique Manalo naman ang Vice-Chair for ASEAN Political Community, Trade and Industry Sec. Alfredo Pascual bilang Vice-Chair for ASEAN Economic Community, at  Social Welfare Sec. Rex Gatchalian na itinalagang Vice-Chair for ASEAN Socio-cultural community.

Miyembro naman ng konseho ang mga kalihim ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of National Defense (DND), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Department of Transportation (DOTr), Department of Tourism (DOT), Department of Budget and Management (DBM), at Presidential Communications Office (PCO).

Maari din na maging miyembro ng naturang konseho ang mga lokal na opisyal ng mga lugar na pagdadausan ng mga pagpupulong.

Bubuo ang NOC ng isang master plan para matiyak na magiging maayos ang pagdaraos ng 2026 ASEAN Summit sa bansa.

Ang Office of the Director-General for Operations na nasa ilalim ng Office of the President ang tagapagpatupad naman ng ASEAN NOC at ang mamumuno sa NOC Executive Committee.

Ang pagho-host ng Pilipinas sa 2026 ASEAN ay tinanggap ni Marcos Jr., sa 43rd ASEAN Summite sa Jakarta noong nakaraang taon.
