BSP forecast: March inflation rate 3.4% – 4.2%

Tinataya ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) na maaring nasa pagitan ng 3.4 at 4.2 porsiyenton ang maitalang inflation rate noong nakaraang buwan.

Bunga ito ng mataas na presyo ng mga pagkain, partikular na ng bigas at karne.

“Continued price increases of rice and meat along with higher domestic oil prices and electricity rates are the primary sources of upward price pressures for the month,” ayon sa BSP.

Makakadagdag din ang pagtaas sa halaga ng kuryente at mga produktong-petrolyo sa mabilis na pagtaas ng halaga ng mga produkto at serbisyo nitong Marso.

Noong Pebrero ang naitalang inflation rate ay 3.4 porsiyento, na higit na mababa naman sa 7.6 porsiyento noong Marso 2023.

Ilalabas ng March inflation rate sa Biyernes, Abril 5.
