Kabilang si Marbil sa PMA Class “Sambisig” Class of 1991 at pinamunuan muna niya ang PNP – Directorate for Comptrollership, Police Regional Office 8 (PRO-8), at ang Highway Patrol Group (HPG).
Sa turn-over ceremony kanina sa Camp Crame, sinabi ni Marcos Jr., na kumpiyansa at tiwala siya sa kakayahan ni Marbil na pamunuan ang 232,000 pulis sa bansa.
Hinamon na lamang din niya ito na solusyonan ang mga banta ng terorismo, transnational crimes at cybercrime, bukod sa maging tunay na propesiyonal sa pagsisilbi sa mamamayan.
