Taiwan toll system susi sa pagbaba ng presyo ng agri products – Magsasaka PL head
Kumpiyansa si Magsasaka Party-list leader Robert Nazal na makakatulong ng malaki sa sektor ng agrikultura sa bansa kung gagayahin ang Multi-Lane Free Flow tolling system ng Taiwan.
Ayon kay Nazal mababawasan ang gastusin ng mga magsasaka sa transportasyon ng kanilang mga produkto at makikinabang din ang mga konsyumer.
Nakikipagpaulong na si Nazal sa MLFF operators sa Taiwan bunga ng matinding interes na magaya sa Pilipinaas ang teknolohiya, na magiging susi para bumaba ang halaga ng mga produktong-agrikultural.
Pagbabahagi niya sa MLFF system ay mabilis ang daloy ng trapiko at ito ay electronic toll collection.
“Taiwan’s MLFF tolling system presents a promising solution to alleviate the financial burden faced by farmers and consumers in the Philippines. By facilitating fast traffic flow and reducing transportation and logistics expenses, we can ultimately lower the cost of agricultural products, benefiting both farmers and consumers,” dagdag pa niya.
Binanggit niya na ang Taiwan ang nangunguna sa tolling technology dahil ito ang kauna-unahan sa transisyon sa all-electronic mula sa manual tolling.
Ito rin aniya ang nanguna sa distance-based pay-as-you-go tolling system mula sa flat-rate toll stations at may pinakamahabang Electronic Toll Collection freeway mileage sa buong mundo.
