50% fare discount alok ng OWWA, Ube Express sa OFWs
Inilunsad ng Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) at Ube Express ang pagbibigay ng 50% diskuwento sa pasahe sa kanilang biyahe mula sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
Sinabi ni OWWA Administrator Arnel Ignacio na ang matitipid ng OFW ay mula P25 hanggang P150 depende sa distansiya ng ruta o biyahe.
Dagdag pa niya maaring magbayad ang OFW ng cash, gamitin ang online payment system o beep card.
Ayon naman kay UBE Express President Garrie David magpapakalat sila ng Passengers Service Agents sa point-to-point at curbside route terminals upang maybigay tulong sa OFWs ukol sa discounted fare.
Kinakailangan lamang na ihanda ng OFW ang ilan sa kanilang mga dokumento para sa “verification process” sa pagbibigay ng diskuwento sa pasahe.
Ipinaalala na rin ang “no seat reservation policy” at ang paiiralin ay ang “first come, first serve policy.”
