Hinarang na plastic cards para sa driver’s license dinala na sa LTO
Napasakamay na ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) kaninang hapon ang halos isang milyong plastic cards na magagamit para sa driver’s license.
Kasunod ito ng desisyon ng Court of Appeals na bawiin ang writ of preliminary injuction na inilabas ng isang korte sa Quezon City.
Sinabi ni LTO chief Vigor Mendoza II, ito ay pauna lamang sa 3.2 milyong plastic cards ng Banner Plastics Inc.
“We admire and respect the wisdom of the justices of the Court of Appeals in their decision to lift the writ of preliminary injunction. This is a victory for the Filipino people,” ani Mendoza.
Malinaw naman na dapat ay nangingibabaw ang interes ng publiko sa interes sa negosyo at ito aniya ang nakita ng CA base sa kanilang mga argumento sa pamamagitan ng Office of the Solicitor General. (OSG).
Ikinatuwa din aniya ni Transportation Sec. Jaime Bautista ang desisyon ng CA dahil milyong motorista ang makikinabang.
