Marijuana oil inihahalo sa vape juices, publiko binalaan
Ibinunyag ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) na dumadami ang vaping products na hinahaluan ng marijuana oil.
Kasunod ito nang pagkakakumpiska ng cannabis oil, marijuana kush at vaping products sa Taguig City noong nakaraang Marso 14.
Noon din nakaraang linggo, naharang sa Port of Manila ng PDEA at Bureau of Customs ang 18 kahon na naglalaman cannabis oil at marijuana kush at itinago naman sa e-cigarettes at ang mga ito ay nagkakahalaga ng P337 milyon.
“PDEA warns the public not to patronize marijuana-laced e-cigarettes because of the health hazards involved, and most importantly the law explicitly prohibits it,” ang pahayag ng PDEA.
Ayon sa ahensiya ang mga ganitong modus ay maaring humantong sa adiksyon sa marijuana.
Ang pagdami ng mga nakukumpiskang smuggled marijuana oil ay nangangahulugan na tumataas ang pangangailangan.
“Considering that the vaping culture is predominantly popular among the youth, PDEA is wary that these cannabis extracts can passed off as a legitimate vape aerosol in the market and sold to the younger patrons,” dagdag pa ng PDEA.
