Umaasta siyang parang Diyos, Quiboloy ipinaaaresto na ng Kamara
Dahil sa muling hindi pagsipot sa pagdinig ng House Committee on Legislative Franchises, ipina-contempt na si Pastor Apollo Quiboloy at ipinag-utos na rin ang pag-aresto sa kanya.
Si Surigao del Sur Rep. Johnny Pimentel ang nagmosyon para ma-cite in contempt ang self-appointed “Son of God.”
Dahil walang tumutol sa mga miyembro ng komite ipinag-utos na ni Parañaque City 2nd district Rep. Gus Tambunting, ang namumuno sa komite, sa House Sergeant-at-Arms ang pag-aresto kay Quiboloy upang makaharap na ito sa susunod na pagdinig base naman sa mosyon ni ABANG LINGKOD Party-list Rep. Joseph Stephen Paduano.
Pinagbilinan na lamang din ang House Sergeant-at-Arms na makipag-ugnayan sa pulisya sa pag-aresto kay Quiboloy.
Ipina-subpoena na ng komite si Quiboloy ngunit hindi pa rin ito dumalo sa pagdinig.
“The fact that he has not been appearing in these hearings, in this committee, just shows that he has no respect for this committee. It just shows that he acts like God, he acts with impunity, he takes this hearing granted. Ipinagwawalang-bahala niya, importante po siya dito,” sabi pa ni Pimentel, ang vice chairman ng komite.
Ang pagdinig ay may kaugnayan sa diumanoy mga paglabag sa prangkisa ng television network SMNI, kung saan kinikilalang chairman si Quiboloy.
Ngunit ayon sa mga kinatawan ng SMNI hindi pag-aari ni Quiboloy ang TV network.
