Palasyo walang deklarasyon na regular holiday sa Lunes dahil sa Eid’l Fitr
Binansagan ng Malakanyang na “fake news” ang kumakalat na impormasyon na idineklarang “nationwide regular holiday” sa Lunes, Marso 11, kasabay ng paggunita sa bansa ng Eid’l Fitr .
Inilabas ang pahayag matapos kumalat ang Proclamation 729 na sinasabing inilabas ng Palasyo.
Nilinaw na ang naturang deklarasyon ay inilabas pa ni dating Executive Sec. Medialdea noong administrayong-Duterte.
“The circulating document labeled ‘Proclamation No. 729,’ which purportedly declares Monday, March 11, 2024, as a nationwide regular holiday in celebration of Eid’l Fitr, is spurious,” pahayag ng Malakanyang.
Ang Eid’l Fitr ay ginugunita ng mga Muslim matapos ang isang buwan na pag-aayuno sa Ramadan.
