Ph-Australia partnership sa climate change inaasahan ni PBBM

Umaasa si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., na magkakaroon ng “partnership” ang Pilipinas at Australia sa pagtugon sa climate change.

Inilatag ni Marcos sa Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)-Australia Special Summit sa Melbourne ang komprehensibong plano ng Pilipinas sa sektor ng renewable energy.

“We thus invite Australia to partner with the Philippines in our clean, green, and renewable energy industry and other emerging technologies, and introduce energy efficiency and conservation measures,” sabi pa ni Marcos.

Ipinunto niya ang sitwasyon ng Pilipinas sa usapin ng mga epekto ng climate change at aniya ginagawa ng kanyang administrasyon ang lahat.

Nabanggit din niya ang mga natalakay sa ginanap na 28th Session of the Conference of Parties (COP28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) sa  Dubai at inulit ang alok na magsilbing host sa Board of the Loss and Damage Fund sa Pilipinas.

“Hosting the Board in the Philippines would showcase global commitment to inclusivity, ensuring that the voices and experiences of the most affected countries are heard and considered in shaping the most urgent of global climate policies,” aniya.
