Hiningi ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) ang tulong ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) sa pag-iimbestiga sa naipuslit na dalawang Bugatti Chiron sports cars na nagkakahalaga ng P330 milyon.

“The LTO-National Capital Region already investigated the matter and it was discovered that documentary and procedural irregularities appear to surround the eventual registration of these luxury vehicles,”  ani Bautista.

Ipinabubusisi din ni Bautista sa Office of the Assistant Secretary for Road Transport and Non-Infrastructure and Special Action and Intelligence Committee for Transportation  ang proseso sa pagpaparehistro ng “luxury vehicles.”
