Pilipinas, Australia may bagong kasunduan sa cyber tech, maritime cooperation

Pinagtibay ng Pilipinas at Australia ang “strategic partnerships” sa maritime and technology cooperation at cyber and critical technology gayundin sacompetition laws.

Ang pagpirma sa tatlong memoranda of understanding (MOU) ay sinasaksihan nina Pangulong Marcos Jr., at  President Marcos at Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese sa Canberra ngayon araw.

Sa kasunduan ukol sa marine cooperation, paiigtingin ng dalawang bansa ang pagpapabuti ng rehiyon, kabilang ang  civil maritime security, marine environment protection, maritime domain awareness, at rrespeto sa pandaigdigang batas.

Nagkasundo ang dalawang lider na ipagpatuloy ang “maritime cooperative activities” bilang  “regional partners” para sa kapayapaan at kaayusan sa rehiyon sa pamamagitan na rin ng “defense and security cooperation.”

“We look forward to amplifying our joint activities and the capacity-building efforts in this regard,” sabi ni Marcos.
