Palasyo sinabing inaaral pa ni PBBM ang Philhealth premium hike
Walang desisyon si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., ukol sa limang porsiyentong pagtaas sa kontribusyon sa Philippine Health Insurance Corp.’s (PhilHealth).
Naglabas ng pahayag ang Malakanyang, ayon kay Communications Sec. Cheloy Garafil, matapos sabihin ni Philhealth chief Emmanuel Ledesma na hindi tumutol ang Palasyon sa pagtaas ng kontribusyon.
Ayon pa kay Garafil, nais lang ni Marcos na matiyak na mabebenepisyuhan ng pagtaas sa premium rates ang mga miyembro.
“The review is still ongoing. The President wants to ensure that any increase in premium will substantially be much more in value in terms of benefits and coverage to PhilHealth members,” ayon pa kay Garafil.
Ang pagtaas sa limang porsiyento ay alinsunod lamang sa nakasaad sa Universal Health Care Law.
