Foreign trips ni PBBM nagbunga ng $1.048B foreign direct investments

Umangat sa $1.048 hanggang noong nakaraang Nobyembre ang halaga ng foreign direct investments (FDIs) na bunga ng mga pagbisita ni Pangulong Marcos Jr., sa ibat-ibang bansa.

Base sa datos mula sa Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) mula noong Enero hanggang Nobyembre 2023, sa manufacturing may pinakamalaking pumasok na FDIs sa 50 porsiyento ng nabanggit na halaga, 15 porsiyento sa real estate at 12 porsiyento sa financial and insurance. Ito ay pagpapakita ng 27.8 porsiyentong pagtaas na may halagang $820 million kumpara sa katulad na panahon noong 2022. “Indeed, we are making it happen in the Philippines. The pipeline of projects initiated during President Marcos Jr.’ presidential visits, along with the goodwill fostered, is starting to yield tangible results, as shown by the latest FDI report from BSP. From January to November last year, we observed a substantial rise in FDIs in manufacturing and a significant surge in FDIs originating from Germany,” ani Trade Sec. Fred Pascual, na namumuno din sa Board of Investments (BOI). Nabatid na sa 11 buwan ng nakaraang taon, una ang Japan sa mga namuhunan sa bansa  sa halagang $667.58 million, Singapore ($158.88 million), Germany ($149.80 million), at Amerika ($110.8 million).
