Pinag-iingat ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) ang publiko, lalo na ang mga nangangarap makapag-trabaho sa ibang bansa, na mag-ingat sa illeggal recruiters na gumagamit na ng social media.
Ginawa ni Immigration Chief Norman Tansingco ang babala dahil marami pa rin Filipino ang nabibiktima ng modus.
“These offers of illegal recruiters to facilitate your travel would only increase your vulnerabilities of exploitation. We remind aspiring OFWs to only accept offers through legitimate channels, through the Department of Migrant Workers,” ang sabi ni Tansingco.
Pagbabahagi ng opisyal na noon lamang Enero 24, dalawang Filipina ang pinabalik mula sa Sandakan, Sabah.
Aniya ipinuslit ang dalawang Filipino sa Malaysia at ang isa ay nakita ang inaalok na trabaho sa pamamagitan ng Facebook.
