Revilla pinuri ang pagpasa ng 22 pang senador sa PNP Reform bill
Pinapurihan ni Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla, Jr. ang 22 kapwa senador na ipinasa ang Senate Bill No. 2449 o ang PNP Organizational Reforms Act.
Si Revilla ang pangunahing awtor at co-sponsor ng panukalang-batas.
“Importante kasi na maisaayos natin ang mga opisina sa hanay ng PNP para lalong mas maging episyente at epektibo ang kanilang pagtugon sa kanilang mga tungkulin,” sabi pa ng senador.
Dagdag pa niya na matagal na ang paghihintay ng mamamayan ang reporma sa pambansang-pulisya.
Naniniwala si Revilla kapag naging ganap na batas, magiging kapaki-pakinabang din ito sa institusyon at sa taumbayan na dapat nilang pagsilbihan at protektahan.
Layon ng panukala, paliwanag ni Revilla Jr., na mapagtibay pa ang ilang tanggapan kasama na ang Philippine National Police Academy, Strategy Management Center, Human Rights Affairs Office, Peace Process and Development Center, Command Center, Public Information Office, Liaison Office for the Office of the President, Liaison Office for the Department of the Interior and Local Government, Legislative Affairs Center, at ang Office of the Police Attaché.
