DOJ kinontra si Digong sa paghiwalay ng Mindanao sa Republika

Hindi din pabor ang  Department of Justice (DOJ) sa inanusiyo ni dating Pangulong Duterte na paghiwalay ng Mindanao sa Republika ng Pilipinas.

Sa inilabas na pahayag, matinding tinututulan ng kagawaran ang anumang panawagan sa paghiwalay ng Mindanao o anumang bahagi ng bansa, gayundin ang anumang pagtatangka laban sa integridad at pagkakaisa ng Pilipinas na nakapaloob sa Saligang Batas.

Labag ang paghiwalay ng anumang bahagi ng Pilipinas sa Article II Section II ng 1987 Constitution.

“As the principal law agency of the Executive branch, the DOJ remains committed to protecting our sovereignty and upholding the sanctity of the highest law of the land. Our nation’s strength lies in unity, and we call upon all Filipinos to reject secessionist ideologies and work together for a strong, united, and undivided Bagong Pilipinas,” dagdag pa ng DOJ.

Maging ilang lider sa Mindanao ang nagpahayag ng pagkontra sa inanunsiyo ni Duterte.
