Ilang kongresista nakatanggap ng bomb threat, Kamara naghigpit sa seguridad
Magkakaroon ng pagbabago at mas maghihigpit ang seguridad sa Kamara matapos makatanggap ang ilang kongresista ng bimb threat.
Sinabi ni House Secretary-General Reginald Velasco hinihigpitan nila ang pagpasok ng “outsiders” sa loob ng Batasang Pambansa Complex.
“We just want to protect the members of the House of Representatives and staff and employees of the House against any untoward incident. I have talked with the Sergeant at Arms and I told him to impose strict security to all those who are entering the premises particularly the non-members of the House and who are not employees of this institution,” hdagdag pa niya.
Hindi naman niya kinilala ang mga mambabatas na nakatanggap ng pagbabanta.
Nabanggit niya na wala ng motorsiklo ang makakaparada sa harap ng anumang gusali at magtatalaga sila ng parking area at 24 oras na may aaligid na mga security details sa buong complex.
Ang mga delivery ay kailangan na kunin ng mga kawani sa gate.
