Nabigong maabot ang economic growth target noong nakaraang taon, base sa datos mula sa Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
Nabatid na nakapagtala ng 5.6 percent economic growth sa huling tatlong buwan at maging sa kabuuan ng nakalipas na taon.
Mababa ito sa 6 percent hanggag 7 percent na itinakdang target ng gobyerno.
Tumaas naman ang produksyon sa sektor ng agrikultura ng 1.4 porsiyento; 3.2 porsiyento sa forestry at 7.4 porsiyento sa pangingisda.
Umangat din sa 5.3 porsiyento ang household final consumption expenditure sa huling quarter ng 2023.
