Pangulong Marcos Jr., nababahala sa tensyon sa Taiwan Strait
Nagpahayag ng kanyang pagkabahala si Pangulong Marcos Jr., sa mga kasalukuyang kaganapan sa Taiwan Strait.
Ibinahagi niya ito sa kanyang pakikipagpulong kay Vietnamese President Vo Van Thuong.
Paliwanag ni Marcos kapag sumiklab ang kaguluhan sa naturang rehiyon tiyak na maaapektuhan ang hilagang bahagi ng Pilipinas at ito aniya ang kanyang ikinababahala.
“Any conflict in Taiwan is certainly going to affect the northern territories of the Philippine archipelago, and may compromise the safety and wellbeing of the 170,000 Filipinos who now have made their lives in Taiwan. I understand that Viet Nam has a sizable population in Taiwan as well,” sabi pa nito.
Kasabay din nito ang pagpapahayag niya ng kanyang pagkabahala sa mga sitwasyon sa Myanmar, Gaza, at South China Sea.
