ASL magpapatibay sa posisyon ng Pilipinas sa WPS – Tolentino

Naniniwala si Senator Francis Tolentino na kung magiging ganap na batas ang isinusulong na Archipelagic Sea Lanes (ASL) at tatanggain ng International Maritime Organization (IMO), mapapagtibay nito ang posisyon ng Pilipinas sa pakikipag-agawan ng bahagi ng West Philippine Sea (WPS).
Binanggit ito ni Tolentino sa pagdinig ng pinamumunuan niyang Special Committee on Maritime and Admiralty Zones para sa panukalang pagtatatag ng archipelagic sea lanes ng Pilipinas. Sa deliberasyon sa panukala, isinulong ni Tolentino ang pagsama sa isang probisyon na sesentro sa 2016 Arbitral Ruling, ang tagumpay ng Pilipinas laban sa China sa Arbitral Tribunal.
