Sen. Jinggoy Estrada itinuring na bindikasyon ang pagkaka-absuwelto sa plunder case
Naalis na ang mabigat na pasanin ni Senator Jinggoy Estrada gayundin ng kanyang pamilya nang mapawalang-sala siya sa kasong plunder o pandarambong ng Sandiganbayan 5th Division.
“This is a vindication of my name and I am emerging victorious at this point,” ani Estrada matapos ibaba ng anti-graft court ang hatol.
Patunay lang aniya na wala siyang ibinulsang pera ng taumbayan gaya ng alegasyon sa paggamit niya ng kanyang Priority Development Assistance Fund o PDAF.
Samantala, sinabi ni Estrada na ikinabigla niya ang “guilty verdict” sa kasong direct at indirect bribery.
“I am so surprised because based on the info sheet there was no bribery or indirect or direct bribery filed in the info sheet. It is only the case of plunder and I have been acquitted, exonerated,” aniya.
Tiniyak naman niya na gagawin nila ang lahat hinggil sa naturang hatol.
“Nothing is final, okay. That is appealing. We will file the necessary MR (motion for reconsideration) before the SB (Sandiganbayan). I will instruct my lawyers to exhaust all legal remedies,” aniya.
