Rotational blackouts hindi dapat parte ng buhay ng tao – Poe
Pinakikilos ni Senator Grace Poe ang gobyerno, National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), at ang mga pribadong negosyo para matigil na ang nararanasang “rotational blackouts” sa Western Visayas.
“The rotational blackout in parts of Western Visayas must be addressed before darkness engulfs the region anew,” sabi ni Poe.
Sabi pang namumuno sa Senate Committee on Public Services dapat ay bilisan ng mga kinauukukalan na masolusyonan ang problema kung ito ay dahil sa isyu sa supply, generation o transmission.
Una nang nagbabala ang NGCP na maarin maulit ang pagkawala ng suplay sa Panay dahil hindi pa rin nareresolba ang isyu sa mga planta ng kuryente.
Kagabi nawalan ng kuryente sa Negros at Panay sub-grid dahil sa “unscheduled manual load dropping (MLD).”
Himutok na lamang ng senadora na ang blackouts ay nangyayari habang iniimbestigahan pa sa Senado ang nangyaring blackout sa Panay Island pagpasok ng bagong taon.
“Households, schools, businesses, government offices suffer immensely, and activities come to a halt without power,” sabi pa ni Poe.
