DepEd tiitigil na sa pagbibigay ng Senior High vouchers
Hindi na magbibigay ang Department of Education (DepEd) ng Senior High School (SHS) vouchers sa mga Grade 11 students na papasok sa mga public higher education institutions (HEIs).
Ayon sa kagawaran, nailabas na ang Department Order No. 20 series of 2023 hinggil sa naturang hakbangin.
“There should be no more Grade 11 voucher beneficiaries” from State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs) for School Year (SY) 2023-2024,” ayon sa naturang kautusan.
Napag-alaman ng DepEd na may ilang state universities and colleges (SUC) at local universities and colleges (LUCs) ang tumanggap ng Grade 11 students sa kabila ng naturang kautusan.
Kayat paalala na lamang ng DepEd na hindi na magpapalabas ng SHS vouchers sa mga nabanggit na institusyon.
Sa pagtanggap ng public HEIs ng Grade 11 students ang lahat ng mga gastusin ay magmumula na sa kanilang pondo.
Noong nakaraang buwan, inanunsiyo ng Commission on Higher Education (ChEd) ang hindi na pagtanggap ng SUCs at LUCs ng Grade 11 students.
