26 BIR employees sinuspindi dahil sa ibat-ibang kaso
Sinuspindi ni Bureau of Internal Revenue Commissioner Romeo Lumagui Jr. ang kanilang 26 empleyado.
Bunga ito ng mga kasong grave misconduct, serious dishonesty, gross neglect of duty, violation of reasonable office rules and regulations, paglabag sa Anti-Red Tape Act of 1997 at conduct prejudicial to the best interest of the service.
“The suspension of 26 BIR officials shows our commitment to the Filipino people. You deserve only the best in public service. The BIR will continue to create a culture of professionalism and integrity under my watch,” pahayag ni Lumagui.
Dagdag pa nito,, 21 ang naaprubahang formal charges with preventive suspension orders kung saan ipinatupad na ang utos sa 18 kawani habang ipapatupad pa lamang ang tatlo.
Inaprubahan naman ng BIR ang rekomendasyon na suspensyon sa limang empleyado na may penalty.
