Retired AFP general inasunto ni PNP Chief Acorda dahil sa destab plot post
Inireklamo sa Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office ni PNP Chief Benjamin Acorda ng paglabag sa Cybercrime Law ang isang retiradong heneral ng Armed Force of the Philippines (AFP).
Ang reklamo laban kay retired Gen. Johnny Macanas ay dahil sa paggamit niya ng larawan ni Acorda sa kanyang viral post sa social media ukol sa pagkumbinsi kay Pangulong Marcos Jr., na bumaba na sa puwesto.
Ginamit din ni Macanas ang larawan ni AFP Chief of Staff Gen. Romeo Brawner.
“This case was filed because of sowing disinformation that the Chief PNP has withdrawn support from the President and that the President is being encouraged to resign,” paliwanag ni PNP spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo.
Dagdag pa ni Fajardo ang ginawa ni Acorda ang hakbang para ipabatid na publiko na ang karapatan sa pagpapahayag at opinyon ay kailangan pa rin na isinasagawa alinsunod sa mga batas.
