Government, private sector partnership pagtitibayin sa Community Development Week ng Palasyo
Para mapalakas pa ang Bayanihan Spirit sa bansa, inaprubahan ni Pangulong Marcos Jr. ang Memorandum Circular No. 41 na nag-aatas sa lahat ng government agencies at humihimok sa local government units na gunitain ang “Community Development Week” at “Community Development Day” tuwing unang linggo ng Enero kada taon.
Batay sa Memorandum Circular No. 41 na nilagdaan ni Exevutive Sec. Lucas Bersamin na may petsang Enero 3, nais ni Pangulong Marcos Jr., na panatilihing buhay ang diwa ng Bayanihan Spirit at pahalagahan ang pagtutulungan sa komunidad.
Inaatasan ang Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) sa pakikipagtulungan ng non-government at people’s organizations na pangunahan ang mga aktibidad at programa para sa taunang “Community Development Week” at “Community Development Day.”
“All national government agencies and instrumentalities, including government-owned or -controlled corporations, government financial institutions, and state universities and colleges are hereby directed, and all local government units are encouraged, to extend full support for, and cooperation in, the conduct of relevant activities and programs during the annual celebration of the Community Development Week and Community Development Day,” saad ng dalawang pahinang Memorandum Circular.
Layunin ng proklamasyon na kilalanin ang ambag ng gobyerno at non-government organizations sa development ng local communities, people empowerment at community mobilization.
