Inaprubahan na ni Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman ang pagpapalabas ng P55. 65 milyong Special Allotment Release Order (SARO) para sa konstruksiyon ng three-storey Student Center Building sa Mindanao State University (MSU) sa Marawi City.
Gagamitin ang itatayong gusali para sa promosyon, development, at implementasyon ng iba’t-ibang student-related programs at aktibidad ng unibersidad.
“Tulad po ng lagi kong sinasabi, our youth are the torchbearers of our future. That is why it’s important that we support them by providing the necessary equipment and facilities. ‘Yan din po ang marching order ng ating Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. dahil alam niya ang kahalagahan ng edukasyon. So, on our part po, we will continue to help gear up the youth,” ani Pangandaman.
Sa mensahe naman ni Pangulong Marcos Jr., sinabi nito na napakahalaga na mapagbuti ang mga pasilidad na pang-edukasyon para sa mas maayos na pag-aaral ng mga estudyante hanggang sa mga malalayong lugar.
Naglaan din ang DBM ng P154.192 milyon sa para sa Free Higher Education (FHE) program sa MSU-Marawi.
