Panay Island blackout mabilis na pinareresolba ni Jinggoy
Umapila si Senator Jinggoy Ejercito Estrada sa mga kinauukalang ahensiya ng gobyerno at sa mga pribadong kompaniya na agad bigyan solusyon ang malawakang pagkalawa ng suplay ng kuryente sa Panay Island.
“The severity of the power shortage in Panay Island cannot be overstated. The absence of electricity not only affects households but also cripples businesses, hospitals, and other crucial services that depend on a reliable power source,” ani Estrada sa inilabas na pahayag ng kanyang opisina.
Aniya labis na nakakalungkot na sa pagpapasok ng bagong taon ay blackout ang naranasan sa Western Visayas.
“Huwag na sana nila hayaan na magtagal pa kahit isang araw ang krisis na ito,” pakiusap pa ni Estrada.
Samantala, nagpaalala ang Department of Energy (DOE) sa National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) sa mga responsibilidad bilang System Operator (SO) sa pagtitiyak sa seguridad at maaasahang suplay ng kuryente.
